Texans For True Mobility

“Texans For True Mobility” (TTM) is a newly created non-profit organization to discuss and propose financially sound and effective transportation solutions.

The proposed Metro Solutions plan is neither financially sound nor effective.

The primary problems with the Metro Solutions Plan are follows:

• It does NOT relieve congestion
• It costs too much
• It wastes funds needed to implement true congestion relief
• It’s light rail may actually increase area congestion
• It’s 25% General Mobility money is not protected
• It's not structured to accommodate Houston’s growth
• METRO is already on unstable financial footing
• Most rail riders will come from buses, not cars.
• Dallas already tried this experiment, and it failed

TTM will be running an aggressive educational campaign to make sure all voters know that the METRO proposal will not relieve congestion, but will cost in excess of $2 billion.

Our community cannot afford to make such an expensive mistake.

METRO's Solution is a False Mobility Plan.

We need a True Mobility Plan that makes more sense and relieves congestion.
